NATIONAL WOMEN'S COACH - HOCKEY NEW ZEALAND


Hockey New Zealand is seeking applications for the position of National Coach to the New Zealand Women’s Hockey team.

The position requires a high calibre individual with advanced coaching knowledge who has the leadership and professional qualities to lift the Black Sticks Women’s team back to a consistent top 6 position in the world.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the selection, preparation, coaching and performance of the national team as well as monitoring and developing players within the national system. The successful applicant will also be responsible for the support and management teams around the Black Sticks squads.

The position is for a fixed four year term, based in Auckland and will be responsible to the High Performance Manager.

ADMINISTRATION OFFICER


A full-time position is available immediately through to June 2009 with North Harbour Hockey, one of NZ’s most successful and progressive hockey associations, to cover the incumbent on maternity leave. Extension of employment beyond this time may be possible. This is a key, challenging but rewarding position, encompassing a wide variety of administrative tasks, including some supervision of other staff and dealing regularly with the membership. Strong typing and computer skills, initiative, self motivation and energy are required. Previous experience with sports administration is desirable and the job entails some irregular hours and weekend work.

WELLINGTON HOCKEY ASSOCIATION - CHIEF EXECUTIVE


With a vision of becoming a leader at national level, Wellington Hockey Association (WHA) has embarked on bold and transformational change. A new constitution has been established, an independent Board appointed and a new organisation structure designed.

The Board has identified the need to appoint an inaugural Chief Executive to drive the changes at a strategic and operational level. The Chief Executive will lead WHA into its new era of professionalism and ensure it reaches its full potential.

We are seeking applications from proven leaders with finance and marketing experience and empathy for the game. The ability to lead a small team, articulate the vision, translate strategy into reality and engage the support of stakeholders will be essential.

MT EDEN HOCKEY CLUB - COACHES FOR PREMIER MEN & WOMEN'S TEAMS 2008

Premier Men and Women Coaches - Paid positions.

Mt Eden Hockey Club Incorporated is seeking applications from suitably experienced and qualified coaches for their Premier Men and Women's teams for 2008.

Successful applicants will have Hockey Coaching Level 1 and/or Level 2 qualifications and previous hockey coaching, team selection and leadership experience. A competitive season contract will be offered including a season performance based bonus.

Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
